Recently, at least one cat in Germany was identified having succumbed as a result of the bird flu. Unconfirmed reports are that other cats, in both Austria and Germany, died as well. Dr. Susan Little, a feline veterinarian from Quebec happened to be in Europe at the time. She join Steve to confirm or deny reports that some people panicked, and abandoned their cats. And she tell us how officials and politicians in Europe have responded.

Pick of the Litter: “Puppy Perfect” is a goal and the name of the of New York City based dog trainer Sarah Hodgson’s most recent book. Sarah will attempt how to explain how to mold the most perfect puppy possible.

Vets on Pets: Dr. Philip Bergman, head of the Donaldson-Atwood Cancer Clinic and Flaherty Comparative Oncology Lab at the Animal Medical Center, New York, NY. reveals new research for cancer treatment for dogs, and also for people.
